Just over a quarter of the District’s children are classified as living in poverty.

59,664 households have debt levels of £10,000 or more and 37,666 households have debt levels between £2,000 and £3,999.

35,662 households were living in fuel poverty in 2011, down from 37,507 households in 2010.
